Chairman of Bashlyks Sports House And Event Centre, Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena a.k.a. Bash, has congratulated the Former Chairman of Nasarawa Utd of Lafia, Mr. Isaac Danladi over the latter’s elevation as a commissioner in the Nasarawa State Government.
Bash who was the Chairman of Heartland Football Club of Owerri in the days of Danladi as Nasarawa Utd’s boss, spoke from his base in Manchester City, UK on Thursday morning, where he alluded that the meteoric rise of Danladi in the human resources management and administration hierarchy in the Nasarawa State and government, was a good testament to the quality and resourcefulness found among many sports administrators in Nigeria.
“I celebrate with you, your family and the people of Nasarawa State over your appointment as a commissioner because you represent one of the rare bred of football administrators we have in this country, “ he enthused.
“Permit me to also say that I share the same feeling over the appointment of another enigma that we have in football administration, Etubong Paul Bassey who has been similarly appointed as a commissioner in Akwa Ibom State. My joy is premised on the fact that you were all products of sports administration and that in itself speaks volumes about those in the industry. I am proud of you, “he said.
Danladi was initially elevated to the position of a permanent secretary in the Nasarawa State Civil Service before his eventual appointment this week as a commissioner in-charge of Environment And Natural Resources in the Governor Abdullahi Sule- led government while Bassey was appointed commissioner of sports in Akwa Ibom by Governor Umo Eno.
Bash said he was happy to have associated with the duo and would always give good testimony not only about their managerial acumen but also on their integrity as leaders.
